The design and concept of this fastfood outlet is reminiscent of a 50's or 60's diner in the U.S. It has an all American look and feel, with old memorabilias of the past and table top jukeboxes playing old favorites. They serve hamburgers, sandwiches and in my opinion, the best milkshakes and malts. An added feature is an impromptu dance number from the crew every now and then. There used to be a similar concept there in Quezon City in the 90's, called Sam's Diner.
Johnny Rockets is an international restaurant chain which began operations in the mid 80's on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles. It is now located all over U.S., Canada, Mexico, Germany, several Midle East countries and just recently, in the Philippines. They began their operations in Manila last year and has two oulets (Eastwood Mall Libis and newly opened Tomas Morato Q.C.)
